The Platform Engineer plays a vital role in the design, automation, governance, and optimization of the technical platforms and infrastructure that support software implementations. This position utilizes advanced AI-assisted operations, automation techniques, predictive monitoring, and intelligent infrastructure management to enhance scalability, consistency, and reliability in operations. The primary aim is to ensure that platform operations are intelligent, automated, secure, and scalable throughout the implementation lifecycle.

What you'll do
- Design and implement environments tailored for software applications, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Establish and define architectural standards for infrastructure to guide the development and deployment of platforms.
- Govern platform configuration standards to maintain consistency and compliance across all implementations.
- Support the deployment process and ensure operational readiness for new software releases.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to provision environments efficiently, enhancing the speed and reliability of deployments.
- Implement predictive monitoring techniques to anticipate operational issues before they arise, ensuring smooth platform performance.
- Develop intelligent automation processes to streamline platform operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Oversee AI-driven operational recommendations to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Create Infrastructure-as-Code practices to automate the management of infrastructure and improve deployment consistency.
- Standardize deployment processes to ensure that all environments are set up in a uniform manner,



reducing variability and errors.
- Monitor and govern platform security compliance to protect sensitive data and maintain regulatory standards.
- Analyze operational performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize platform performance continuously.

Requirements
- Proven experience in infrastructure management, with a strong understanding of cloud technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of platform architecture and the ability to design scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards relevant to platform operations.
- Experience in performance management and the ability to analyze and optimize system performance.
- Proficiency in AI-assisted operations and intelligent monitoring tools.
- Strong background in predictive analytics and infrastructure automation practices.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies and automation frameworks.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence in platform management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have
- Experience with specific cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
