Responsibility of engineering activities (technical authority) for the Ground Segment technical area, reporting directly to Head of Satellite & Mission Dept.

As a Team Leader, coordination of Ground Segment technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Technical authority for Ground Segment
- Development of GS in respect of program schedule, budget and internal roadmap
- Coordination of GS team
- Responsibility of Ground Segment solutions development roadmap (focusing on internal development needs versus GS subsystems procurements)
- Coordinate the GS design team during GS design phase, with main task of defining architecture and I/Fs
- Manage (follow-up) the GS Sub-contractors
- Ensure the complete verification of GS requirements through the Verification Control document at all levels (GS, S/S).
- Supervise the GS deployment either on premises or on cloud.
- Guarantee the GS verification and validation process
- Support Operation preparation, validation and execution as Ground Segment point of contact
Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Strong heritage (>10 years) in the frame of Ground Segment (both design and AIV) /Operations and Mission for Institutional and/or Commercial space missions
- Technical background in Ground Segment/Operations
- Experience in team leadership/coordination (>5 resources)
- Experience in managing technical xysqume authority in front of Customer (ESA, ASI, Commercial)
- Master Science (and PhD as added value) in Aerospace or Electronic/TLC or IT or SW Engineering
