Job Description
A luxury resort located in the heart of Umbria is seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Manager to lead all spa operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a highly professional leader with strong operational skills, a passion for wellness, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of service in a refined environment. The selected candidate will oversee the spa team, treatments, retail operations, wellness programs, and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily spa operations to ensure seamless service delivery and outstanding guest experiences.
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of therapists, receptionists, and wellness professionals.
- Develop and maintain treatment menus, wellness programs, and seasonal offerings in alignment with the resort’s luxury standards and brand identity.
- Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, retail sales, supply orders, and cost control.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Rooms Division, F&B;, and Marketing, to support integrated guest experiences and cross-promotions.
- Implement guest feedback processes and continuously improve service quality.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain a strong presence on the spa floor to support team performance and guest engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of spa management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Excellent understanding of spa treatments, wellness programs, and high-end service standards.
- Solid knowledge of operational procedures, budgeting, and revenue management.
- Fluency in English required; Italian is a strong advantage.
- Professional certifications in wellness, spa management, or related fields are preferred.
- Strong guest-focused attitude with a commitment to excellence.
