What To Expect

In this exciting and diverse role, you will strengthen our multidisciplinary team in the design, analysis,



and validation of high-voltage battery functions with a focus on fast charging and battery aging for electric vehicles. You will contribute to the development of robust charging strategies and lifetime-oriented battery concepts from simulation through validation.

- Enhancing simulation and aging models for lithium-ion batteries and fast-charging processes
- Developing algorithms and deriving functional measures to optimize charging performance, battery lifetime, and operating strategies
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to develop functionally consistent battery system concepts with a focus on performance, durability, and customer requirements

What You Bring Along
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field
- Solid practical knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and/or Python; experience with other common programming languages is an advantage
- Experience in the simulation and modeling of lithium-ion cells; knowledge of battery aging mechanisms is a plus
- Basic knowledge of electrochemical energy storage systems and high-voltage battery systems
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong interest in electromobility and battery technologies
- Business fluent English skills
