Network Technician (Freelance | Onsite IT Support)

Job Description

We are seeking Network Technicians to deliver onsite IT and network support at the sites of a major international retail client. This is a freelance, as-needed engagement. Assignments will be assigned according to your location and availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver onsite IT and network support at client locations.
- Identify and fix network and connectivity problems.
- Set up and replace routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and other IT hardware.
- Carry out hardware upgrades and break/fix repairs.
- Fill out service reports and update support tickets following each visit.
- Work alongside remote support teams to resolve technical problems.

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience in onsite IT or network support.
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN,



TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
- Familiarity with Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet, or similar vendors.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Fluent in Italian.
- Strong English skills (required).

Preferred Qualifications

- CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or a comparable networking certification.
- Background in IT support for retail stores or retail settings.
