For an Insourcing Solution client based in Heidelberg, we're looking for an Animal Caretaker. You'll be integrated into our Insourcing Solution department and work directly with one of our clients.
Feeding, giving water, transferring to clean cages.
Performing breeding measures according to theinstructions provided by the users.
Entries into the breeding and cage management program.
Ear punch marking / genotyping.
Identification of animal cages by cage cards and bar code reader.
Observation of the experimental and breeding animals as well as recording ofconspicuous observations (behaviour, disease; collection of data relevant toanimal welfare);
Killing of animals according to legal regulations.
Carrying out hygiene measures in animal rooms and connected areas.
Collecting samples for microbiological examinations.
Available for relocation to Heidelberg
Good command of the German language.
