The new state-of-the-art facility will feature the latest technologies such as ASTAROME™, to enable the use of liquid flavors in dry blends, and the production of more cost-effective reaction flavors. With automated packaging lines and modern warehouse, sampling, QC lab, and expansion capacity to ship, the site will be a state-of-the-art place to help fulfill the ambition of Taste, Texture & Health of dsm-firmenich. As Associate Manager Logistics Operations, you will have the unique opportunity to help establish and shape logistics operations for one of dsm-firmenich’s newest manufacturing sites. You will build and develop a local logistics team while leading end-to-end transportation activities across road, air, and sea freight.
Your work will ensure reliable service to customers and production, support international trade compliance, and help create a world-class logistics operation from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics operations across road, air, and sea transportation, ensuring reliable and efficient material flows to support production and customer requirements.
Build, develop, and lead a high-performing logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure on-time delivery performance and operational excellence while maintaining business continuity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Coordinate transportation activities with internal stakeholders, external logistics providers, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs partners.
