We are seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated and motivated Media, Arts & English Teacher
As a High School teacher at the Canadian School of Florence you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of Media, Arts & English courses to our high school students. You will teach the Ontario Curriculum ensuring the programs are relevant, engaging and fit for purpose. Working with the Senior Leadership Team and other colleagues in the department and Student Support teams, you will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the school through your contribution of excellent classroom practice, positive and collaborative and willingness to support the wider life of the school.
Teaching and Learning
Promote the ‘mission’ and philosophy of the school, ensuring that children are working towards being true global citizens;
Be flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to its development plans and growth;
Implement agreed policies and developments;




Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach, and assess effectively;
Meet requirements for the assessment, evaluation, and recording of students’ development;
Use the student tracking and monitoring processes to advance children’s learning in line with the school’s aspirations and priorities;
Take responsibility for and contribute to professional development;
Effectively communicate the school's key messages and values, be an ambassador for our school at all times.
