Position Overview Exact Sciences Italia is rapidly expanding its commercial presence in Italy and seeks a Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead its efforts in the North‐East region. The candidate will be based in Verona and work closely with the regional Country Manager to develop local account plans aligned with the national brand strategy. The KAM will build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals—including surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists—as well as non‐clinical stakeholders within the National Health System, to advance the adoption of the Oncotype DX assay and other expiring genomic tests. Essential Duties Commercial Activities The KAM will pursue all agreed commercial objectives and actively engage with the oncology community in Italy, primarily within breast‐cancer care.
Duties include providing logistical support to team members at designated cancer centres and driving timely ordering of Oncotype DX assays. Technical Fluency The KAM must complete all training programs, master the concepts of genomic testing, and maintain an in‐depth understanding of disease states associated with our products and the competitive landscape. This expertise enables targeted discussions that facilitate patient access and utilization. Professionalism and Commitment The KAM is expected to excel in performance, pursue continuous self‐development, and actively participate in sales meetings and professional conferences. Close collaboration with sales management and marketing is essential to convey product messages effectively. Communication – External / Internal The KAM will supply critical feedback and information to national and regional teams to support decision‐making. Working with the European Commercial team ensures optimal product access across the regi
