The Customs Team Lead is responsible for managing the overall operations and establishing effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department.
In this role, you will be running customs operations within Automotive vertical, setting up a high performing team, improve processes and implement tools and applications to increase customer satisfaction with a successful management of productivity and in respect of high standard level of compliance. You will be responsible for several direct reports in line with business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Control customs processes ensuring safe, quality, and efficient operations in line with company’s policies




- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with group’s policies and applicable laws
- Be involved in projects leadership and resourcing in collaboration with local management
- Oversee workload and tasks assigned to employees; clarify expectations of roles, lead performance evaluations and address corrective action plans
- Oversee needs for additional resources including participation in recruitment, on-boarding and training
- Ensure correct use of resources to pursuit company’s goals
- Manage escalations and handle potential claims until resolution
- Coordination with Risk & Compliance to handle process and communication with relevant authorities
- Preparation and communication of relevant information for employees under your area of responsibilities
- Business trips might be required
