As a Senior Backend Engineer you will design and develop the backend and core platform for an incident‑automation solution that enables Alpitronic to detect charger issues early, trigger reliable automated remediation, and scale autonomous operations across a rapidly growing network. Evolve the current architecture from tightly coupled workflows and database‑driven logic to a modular, event‑driven, and scalable backend platform
Collaborate with product, service, R&D;, and data engineering teams to translate operational playbooks into maintainable backend capabilities
Help define engineering standards, testing strategies, deployment patterns, and the long‑term backend architecture
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Significant backend engineering experience in production systems
Strong proficiency in C# / .NET and in designing distributed backend services and cloud‑based APIs




Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and familiarity with time‑series, event, or document data models
Experience with system integration, observability, logging, tracing, and operational monitoring
Hands‑on experience with Docker, CI/CD, and modern cloud deployment practices; AWS; exposure to workflow/orchestration engines, rules engines, or complex backend automation and experience in IoT, industrial, fleet, or other operationally critical environments are considered a plus
Fluent English; German and/or Italian is a plus
