ERASMUS+ INTERNSHIP in ROBOTICS – Cognitive-inspired architectural approach for AI in human-robot interaction Location: Center for Human Technologies, Genoa, Italy Commitment & contract: Full-time internship within the Erasmus+ Traineeship programme for undergraduate students enrolled in a masters degree programme; 40 hours/week. Duration: 6 months Start date: 15/09/2026 (flexible) Compensation: No salary granted by IIT; applicants rely on funding from their University's Erasmus+ programme. THE ROLE During your internship you will work on the COg Ni Tive Architecture for Collaborative Technologies group at IIT, coordinated by Alessandra Sciutti. This group focuses on Cognitive Robotics and Human-robot Interaction.



RESPONSIBILITIES Development of robotics cognitive skills SKILLS & COMPETENCIES YOU WILL DEVELOP Robotics Cognitive Architecture Human-robot Interaction ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Registered as a student in an undergraduate masters degree programme in Biomedical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cognitive Science and Psychology or a cognate field of study for the entire duration of your stay at IIT. Good command of spoken and written English. Funding from your University's Erasmus+ programme. APPLICATION PROCESS Application deadline: July 29th, 2026.
