The Role
Hyntelosrlisseekinga full-time, highly skilledSeniorDataEngineerwho is passionate about dataanalysisand data-driven solutionsto join our team in Pisa. The role entails the design, development, and maintenance of structured data analysis pipelines, working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions with the objective of enhancing data value. This involves collaborating between various teams and ensuring data integrity and security. Additionally, an essential aspect of the role is laying in supporting and mentoring junior data engineers.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting and mentoring junior data engineers, collaborating between different teams, ensuring data integrity and security, and working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering/Data Science/Data Engineeringor equivalent.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the following programming languagesor similar:



Python, SQL.
- Strong knowledgeofrelationaldatabases(e.g.MySQL).
- Expertisein data pipeline and ETL processesand tools (e.g.Airflow,Databricks workflows).
- Knowledge of Source Code Management systems (e.g.git)
- Familiarity withShell scripting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention todetail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects.
- Strong communicationskills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning theory is a plus (e.g.Supervised / Unsupervised learning)
- Familiarity with Cloud computing services is a plus (e.g.AWS, Azure, Google)
- Ability to work with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus

Qualifications
- Previousexperiencein team management will be considered a plus.
- Previousexperience with SCRUM teams is a plus.
