Gear Games is looking for an exceptional Lead Game Designer to champion card and content creation for Arcane Rush, our flagship free-to-play autochess CCG. We develop top-grossing titles played by millions of casual and core gamers worldwide, both through our own original IPs and in collaboration with world-class global partners like Riot, Scopely, Second Dinner, and Warner Bros. As the Lead Game Designer, you and your team will completely own new card and content creation for Arcane Rush. This will include design concepting, implementation and balance for new playable factions, heroes, card mechanics, expansions, and other live content for Arcane Rush. We are looking for a strategic design leader who is capable of rigorous mathematical modeling and possesses the innovative spark required to create exciting and memorable gameplay. Responsibilities Master the Metagame: Become a top player within Arcane Rush to cultivate a deep, first-hand mastery of the game to directly inform design, balance,



and content strategy. Own the Card Ecosystem: Lead the design and execution of new card sets, mechanics, and systems from initial concept to live balance. Systems & Economy Architecture: Monitor the live state of the game, leveraging player feedback and data analytics to optimize card balance, mitigate friction, and design highly engaging seasonal content. Leadership & Collaboration: Lead cross-functional working groups (art, engineering, QA, product) to execute high-quality content updates on schedule, holding implementation accountable to your core vision. Experience 8+ years of professional game design experience, with 2+ years in a dedicated leadership role within the gaming industry.
