**Job Description:
**DXC Technology is looking for a Database Administrator Expert to join the Cloud & Infrastructure team.## Responsibilities
* Proven experience in operational management and performance tuning of databases, with end-to-end technical ownership of the database environment, from design to implementation
* Strong skills in backup/restore strategies and service continuity support
* Ability to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, including the resolution of complex technical problems on database systems and platforms
* Experience collaborating with infrastructure teams for application integration, and direct interface with clients and technical teams for requirements gathering and solution validation
* Technical guidance and support for junior/mid team members, contributing to the definition of technical standards and best practices within the team
* Availability to contribute to the hiring process through technical assessments during interviews## We Require
* Team player mindset and ability to manage tasks and priorities independently, with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with clients and technical teams
* Oracle (Standalone and RAC)
* Microsoft SQL Server (Standalone and Always On)
* MySQL Server (Standalone and Always On)
* PostgreSQL (Standalone and Cluster)
* MongoDB (Standalone and Replica Set)
* Experience with Generative AI tools is a plus
**Location:
