Overview & Responsibilities
An excellent opportunity has become available to join Elliott Group as a Field Service Engineer in Italy or Switzerland. The successful candidate will join our field service operation that covers field maintenance activities of Cryogenic Pumps throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa. This includes both Elliott Group and non‐Elliott Group equipment.
The successful candidate will lead installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting activities for our onshore and offshore customers around the clock.
Main Responsibilities Lead Field Service technical advisor for technical support both onsite or as a resource for the customer and other Field Service personnel.
Supervise staff (Elliott, customer and contracted) at customer sites, providing technical expertise and advice on jobs, quoting jobs and assisting with invoicing content and business decisions affecting profitability.
Manage complex packages and contracts; investigate problems, customer complaints and disputes; reach conclusions; and sell solutions both to customer and within Elliott.




Perform hazard identification and mitigation for all tasks being performed as part of job responsibilities.
Manage effective field service reporting to assure proper feedback of product or contact trouble to enable finding the root cause and the correction and elimination of problems.
Provide support to all department and company activities as directed by Field Service Operations management.
Qualifications & Skills
Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent mechanical apprenticeship and several years' experience in the field of turbo machinery.
Engineer should have at least 5‐10 years' experience working on Cryogenic Pumps and Expanders particularly in LNG Onshore Tank Environment and LNG Marine Tankers, hands‐on experience requested.
A practical oriented engineer with both supervisory and hands‐on experience.
Previous experience writing comprehensive and detailed service reports.
