Our client, a global Tier 1 leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and clean energy solutions, is seeking an experienced FP&A; Manager to join its finance team in Milan. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-growing organization at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting the expansion of utility-scale and commercial energy storage projects across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with Italian statutory, fiscal, and tax requirements, coordinating with external advisors and authorities where necessary.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local regulations and group requirements.
Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures, supporting both internal and external audit activities and resolving audit queries and account reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable processes, including expense review, policy compliance, and payment approval workflows.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes,



including Profit & Loss (P&L;), Cash Flow (CF), and balance sheet forecasting.
Perform financial performance analysis, variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to support business decision‐making.
Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and coordinate periodic inventory counts and stock‐taking activities.
Partner with cross‐functional teams to support business growth, process improvements, and company‐wide strategic initiatives.
Collaborate closely with IT and other stakeholders to optimize financial systems, reporting tools, and process automation.
Participate in finance transformation and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.
Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and support management on special projects as required.
