Manager, Regional Sales – Private Sector (South)
Location: Rome (preferred)

Our mission is to safeguard people, devices and data everywhere. We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support the continued expansion of our private sector business across the Southern region.
The role will lead a team of Regional Account Managers, driving growth across private sector organisations and strengthening Fortinet's presence in the Southern region.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Regional Account Managers
Build and execute strategic territory plans to expand Fortinet's presence across private sector accounts in the South
Establish and strengthen executive-level relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners
Oversee the creation and delivery of proposals, bids, RFI and RFP responses, and Statements of Work




Support the team in negotiating commercial terms that drive long-term customer partnerships
Drive new business development while ensuring strong expansion within existing private sector accounts
Manage reseller and partner relationships in alignment with Fortinet's channel programmes, ensuring effective enablement and collaboration
Build revenue and non-revenue business plans with partners, including MDF strategy, account penetration and profitability targets
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and ensure consistent execution across the territory
Collaborate closely with SE teams, consulting teams, marketing, engineering and regional leadership to drive growth
Travel within the assigned territory as required
Requirements
Extensive experience selling technology solutions to enterprise or private sector customers
Proven success managing and developing high-performing sales teams
Strong track record of over-quota achievement and career stability
