Commercial Technical Support Manager France & South Europe
In this role you drive the technical support strategy across France, Iberia and Italy, partnering with sales, marketing, R&D; and customer teams to deliver measurable value. You lead a small European team and act as the technical bridge for products, applications and dispensing equipment. You will translate scientific expertise into practical, value-driven recommendations for customers and partners. You’ll work to improve efficiency, reduce costs and support market launches with clear, hands-on guidance.
- Lead the technical/applicational support strategy for France, Iberia and Italy aligned with European goals
- Manage and develop a four-person technical/scientific team across Europe
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical service, R&D; and customer teams
- Provide expert technical guidance on products, applications and equipment to field teams and customers
- Support opportunities, tenders and roll-outs with value-based recommendations
- Partner with commercial teams to identify customer needs and drive efficiency and cost savings
- Build trusted technical relationships at customer sites via meetings, workshops, audits and in-field support
- Lead troubleshooting and complaint support with product knowledge and quality processes
- Coordinate field testing for European innovations and support launches
- Capture market intelligence to identify gaps and inform portfolio improvements
- Work with sales leaders to identify capability gaps and training priorities
- Champion safe working practices during travel and on-site activities
- Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- Five years of experience in technical service, xysqume R&D;, product application support or related field with leadership responsibility
- Strong customer focus and ability to translate technical expertise into business value
- Proven ability to lead change and manage multiple priorities across countries
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (in-person and virtual)
- Strong planning, organizational and strategic thinking skills with hands‑on and digital mindset
- Fluency in English and Italian; Spanish language skills preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across the region
