Position

The Automation & Control Engineer is responsible to manage control system related projects, as well as provide analysis and technical assistance for service contracts and product upgrades, based on broad knowledge of our gas turbines.

- Coordinate developments and perform modifications in control system logic of our gas turbines
- Maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade control system hardware (system processors, I/O cards and networks)
- Provide assistance and troubleshooting guidelines to plant operations and maintenance teams
- Support and supervise suppliers during project execution
- Specify and conduct factory acceptance tests
- Take action to resolve Process Control issues. Create and provide project specific technical input for other service teams
- Editing of manuals, test procedure and report
- Ensure that all work is performed according to EHS

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Knowledge of principles and methods used in Process Control – required
- At least 3 years of experience
- Experience in control system programming, troubleshooting and commissioning required
- Knowledge of ABB Infi90 /Symphony+, Siemens TXP/T3000, Emerson Ovation, ABB Advant (Egatrol/Turbotrol),



ALSPA (Controgas/Controsteam),– preferred
- Expertise in I&C; loop and bus network design – preferred
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink – preferredi>
- Able to analyze information, draw conclusion and take action to resolve Process Control related issues – required
- Availability to travel over 50% globally
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills – preferred.
- Excellent command of Italian and English; German and/or French advantageous.
- Strong commitment to deliver according to quality, time and cost targets

- For this position, the initial annual gross salary will be not less than €39.000
- Permanent contract

The compensation package will be determined based on the candidate professional experience and technical skills as assessed during the selection process.
