The Human Resources Division (CSH) provides HR strategies, policies,



tools, guidance and oversight to FAO offices worldwide. The post is located under the Integrated Talent Management cluster, Social Security Branch (CSHS) at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy.
The Human Resources Assistant performs a variety of routine functions in support of human resources transactions and assists in providing guidance and advice in the application of policies, rules and procedures.
Review, answer and follow up on standard requests, enquiries and claims regarding human resources matters.
Assemble and review supporting documentation for processing various human resources actions related to recruitment, staffing, organizational design, staff development, learning, policy and social security.
Assist in the recruitment process of all categories of staff and non‑staff, including preparation of vacancy announcements and communication with applicants.
