Experteer Overview As Manufacturing Advisor, you shape coating processes for gas turbine components, combining materials expertise with hands‐on coating operations. You will optimize aluminum-platinum deposition and diffusion, and lead thermal spray work (HVOF and APS) to ensure high‐quality, repeatable coatings. You'll partner with R&D;, design, and quality teams to drive process improvements and material integrity in high‐performance environments. This role offers impact byindustrializing new coatings and sustaining production with safety and compliance at the forefront.
Retribuzione / Benefits Develop, optimize, and standardize coating processes (aluminum-platinum deposition, diffusion heat treatment)
Define/control process parameters to ensure adhesion, thickness uniformity, and spec compliance
Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation (work instructions, control plans, specifications)
Set up and operate HVOF and APS coating systems; monitor spray parameters and equipment performance
Ensure safety compliance and equipment calibration per industry standards
Collaborate with quality and materials teams to analyze defects and implement CAPA
Lead industrialization of new coating technologies from development to production
Drive process improvements in cycle time, yield, repeatability, and environmental compliance
Coordinate with R&D;, design engineering, and suppliers as needed
Responsabilità Master's degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent hands‐on experience
Solid experience in coating processes for aerospace or energy sector, particularly gas turbines
Technical expertise in aluminum-platinum deposition and diffusion, TBCs, HVOF and APS spraying
Strong understanding of coating microstructures, thermal protection, oxidation/corrosion resistance, and adhesion mechanisms
Familiarity with metrology, NDT, and metallurgical analysis techniques
