POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior/Principal Application Engineer will drive the development of reference designs and application boards with a strong focus on Industrial motor‐control and motor‐drive applications that showcase Nexperia's portfolio. This position is part of our System and Application Team and plays a critical role in bridging product development and customer requirements by translating device capabilities into practical, production ready hardware solutions.
The role is central to enabling customer adoption and accelerating time‐to‐market through high‐quality design collaterals, hands‐on validation and technical support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and validate reference designs and application boards using Nexperia's discrete, analog, and power IC solutions
Create schematics, perform component selection, and collaborate on PCB layout to optimize performance, efficiency, cost, thermal behavior, and reliability
Perform comprehensive electrical, thermal, and system‐level validation, including efficiency analysis, switching characterization, transient response testing, thermal profiling, and EMI/EMC pre‐compliance evaluation and troubleshooting
Provide application‐focused technical support to customers and sales teams by troubleshooting designs, supporting design‐in activities, participating in customer engagements, and representing Nexperia at workshops, conferences, and exhibitions
Create and maintain high‐quality technical collateral such as application notes, design guides, simulation models, user manuals, and
