FrieslandCampina is looking for an experienced Private label Product Manager (PM) for cheese category in Italy. This position belongs to the Europe & Retail organization, a FC business group present in many European countries, focused on delivering and making available added value products to the consumers.
The Private Label Product Manager Italy is a pivotal position in our marketing organization and reports directly into our SWEU Marketing Lead. The PM drives the development of innovative and customer-centric products, working closely with internal stakeholders to create and manage a compelling private label assortment that aligns with market trends and strategic goals.
The role is based in Agrate (Milan).
- Lead the development and execution of the private label product strategy, from concept to launch.
- Identify market opportunities and consumer needs to drive product innovation and assortment growth.
- Own the P&L; and collaborate with internal teams to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Monitor performance metrics (sales, margin, market share)



and continuously optimize the portfolio for profitability.
- Partner with the sales and operations team in order to ensure a proper creation and execution of the strategy.
WHAT WE ASK
- You have more than 3 years of relevant product management and marketing experience preferibly within Private Label in the Italian market and a Degree in Business or related field. Previous experience in Category management in food and dairy is a plus.
- You have previously worked in multinational companies with matrix organizations.
- Ability to interpret market data, consumer insights, and financial reports to drive strategic product decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- You are positive, curious, and take the initiative. You have a real "can-do" and entrepreneurial mentality.
