Within this context, the company is now seeking a Strategic Buyer - Chemicals : a high-performing professional who can bring fresh energy, expertise, and capabilities to further strengthen the Direct Procurement team.
Position – The role:



The Strategic Buyer will report to the Global Commodity Manager Chemicals and will take responsibility for one of the Chemicals SubCategory.
He/she will be in charge of 1) implementing and optimizing commodity strategy, 2) contributing to the development and execution of commodity programs and policies across the supplier base to ensure optimal Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), while supporting quality, delivery, sustainability, and innovation objectives, and, last but not least, 3) play a key role in the transformation of a Procurement team with the ambition to be the Best in Class.
Position – Specific Responsibilities:
- Support the management of the chemical commodity for the BU Self Adhesives, contributing to the deployment of the commodity strategy with a particular focus on sourcing execution.
- Foster long-term partnerships with suppliers, acting as their focal point for supplier visits, business reviews, negotiations, and quality management.
