At Tuscookany, we welcome guests from around the world to experience one of Italy s leading luxury cooking schools. Our guests stay in beautiful villas in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, enjoying authentic Italian cooking classes taught by passionate native chefs.

We create more than a holiday we offer an unforgettable experience filled with Italian food, culture, hospitality and friendship.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and hands-on Assistant Villa Operations Manager to join our management team at one of our two villas in Tuscany.

This is much more than a guest relations role. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the villa, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while helping oversee housekeeping, gardens, maintenance and general operational standards.

This is a full-time seasonal live-in position from approximately mid-March until mid-November. Private accommodation and meals while on duty are provided.

Your Responsibilities

Communicate with guests before arrival and assist with transfers

Welcome guests and ensure they feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their stay

Lead culinary excursions to local towns, wineries and olive oil producers

Prepare the aperitivo and ensure everything is ready for dinner

Inspect guest rooms, public areas and gardens to maintain excellent standards

Supervise housekeeping and gardening staff and coordinate their workloads

Coordinate routine maintenance and ensure any issues are dealt with promptly

Monitor villa systems including the pool, heating and irrigation

Manage breakfast shopping, cleaning supplies and weekly stock requirements

Support the Operations Manager with administration and the smooth day-to-day running of the villa

Who We re Looking For





We are looking for someone who combines genuine warmth and hospitality with strong organisational and operational skills.

You should:

Have a qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality or Tourism

Have previous experience in hospitality, boutique hotels, luxury villas or resorts

Enjoy both guest interaction and operational management

Be organised, proactive and confident solving problems

Be comfortable supervising and coordinating a small team

Have excellent spoken and written English; some Italian is an advantage

Hold a valid driver s licence

Already be authorised to live and work in the European Union

Be available for the full season from mid-March until mid-November

Be flexible regarding evenings and weekends during the season

Enjoy living and working as part of a close-knit team in the Tuscan countryside

Be responsible, service-minded and someone who naturally goes the extra mile

We are also open to applications from couples.

If your partner has practical maintenance and gardening skills, is a confident driver and is happy to take on a hands-on maintenance/handyman role at the villa, we would be very interested to hear from you both.

Both applicants must already be authorised to live and work in the European Union.

What We Offer

2,800 3,200 gross per month, depending on experience

Full-time seasonal employment from mid-March to mid-November
