ph3bYour mission /b /h3 pHiab is seeking a data-driven, proactive Sourcing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in vendor selection and the tracking of cost-reduction initiatives to hit annual productivity goals for your specific category. By utilizing global benchmarking and expert negotiation, you will work to maximize purchasing synergies and leverage company spend. We are seeking a collaborative professional who will take ownership of implementing sourcing category strategies and uncovering new opportunities. Your primary focus will be executing sourcing activities designed to minimize total acquisition costs and secure a benchmark total cost of ownership. By maximizing operational and sustainable performance across Hiab, you will drive organizational growth and profitability while maintaining exceptional standards for quality and delivery. /p pThe successful candidate will oversee comprehensive sourcing operations, ensuring the stability of intricate multi-tier supply chains. This role involves active collaboration on Supplier Relationship Management and driving early involvement from key suppliers. You will report to our Category Manager Hydraulics. /p h3bKey responsibilities /b /h3 ul liCollaborate, identify, develop and execute sourcing activities across Hiab spend to optimize use of Hiab resources over the E2E product lifecycle addressing strategic commercial sourcing requirements, supplier preferencing, securing early focus on service and end-of-life requirements, supplier consolidation and pipeline to secure continuity of supply and emerging business needs /li liHiab RFQ preparation, analysis of data, preparation for negotiation and/or negotiation / business award according to delegation of authority /li liIdentify,



propose and later implement and track and implement cost saving actions defined to meet the year on year productivity targets for the category /li liDevelop open book costings, budgets and raw material forecasting for the suppliers within scope /li liSuccessful cross-functional participation in New Product Development, Supplier relationship Management (SRM), early supplier involvement and selection with technology development, productivity, total cost reduction make/buy programs, should-cost modelling, and business process and system implementation /li liManage and improve the Hiab-wide supplier performance using category supplier development resources and QDCI balanced scorecard methodology to monitor and improve performance across key metrics /li liSupport new product development by taking ownership and leading all sourcing deliverables within their own area of responsibility, including fulfillment of technical requirements, quality and delivery assurance deliverables /li liLead the QAP process of activities assigned with support of Supplier Development /li liPromote and secure supplier participation in Cargotec Supply Chain Finance programs /li liFollow Services Strategy Execution including branding to increase capture rate and spare part revenues /li liCollaborate in contract negotiation including payment term,



quality/warranty/logistics annexes and raw material indices /li liDevelopment of supplier risk mitigation programs to ensure minimized disruption within category and business line /li liProvide support to escalate, drive recovery plans and resolve supplier quality/delivery issues using root cause analysis tools methodology to ensure production requirements are secured /li liAdherence to and maintenance of all relevant Purchasing processes and systems. /li /ul h3bWhat we are looking for /b /h3 ul liAt least 3 years of relevant global industrial experience (truck, construction machines, mining, agriculture or automotive); minimum 3 years relevant work experience in sourcing roles in an international and multi-site company; experience in working with large suppliers with global multi-site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiations /li liProject management, cross-functional improvement teams and supplier development programs; experience in using ERP systems /li liExperience in complex steel assemblies / hydraulic systems / electrical electronics preferred /li liDegree Level or Equivalent, with relevant engineering and/or industrial experience /li liBC/C Sourcing in EMEA and APAC /li liData collection and analysis. /li /ul h3bWhat we offer /b /h3 pbSalary: /b € 55k – € 65k Gross Annual Salary (RAL), based on experience /p pNote: The final offer within this range will be determined exclusively by objective, gender-neutral criteria, such as the candidate's specific skills, professional experience, and technical competencies demonstrated during the interview process. /p pAs a part of our Employees First culture, we offer opportunities to grow within a dynamic environment that values flexibility and your well-being.
