ph3Your Role /h3 pWe are looking for a Procurement Specialist in the Purchasing department, reporting to the Global Procurement Manager at the bMantova /b plant. The role involves ensuring the availability of raw materials and packs for the Mantova plant on time and in full. /p h3What you will do /h3 ul liPlan and coordinate the supply of raw materials and packs with different suppliers to cover requested production according to MRP and consumption, considering specific factors of each supplier. /li liDaily follow‐up of production and sourcing plans to ensure the right stock and service level. /li liDetect and prevent supply risks, taking timely actions to avoid shortages in the plant. /li liControl and optimize stocks according to the production needs plan and avoid overstocks, obsolescence, and supply gaps. /li liEvaluate capacity following deliveries and requested needs, also considering contract levels negotiated by buyers. /li liCoordinate and collaborate with Scheduling and Production Planning teams to follow up on production plans and risk assessments. /li liMaintain proper setups in the system for an efficient sourcing plan and place purchase orders according to alignments with suppliers.



/li liSupervise and validate invoices not automatically approved by the system due to price/quantity differences; manage indirect purchase orders to authorize differences driven by specific costs. /li liIdentify and implement new initiatives on processes and tools with the team, continuously improving and growing. /li liMaintain a collaborative approach and fluid communication with the team, suppliers, and different departments involved in daily tasks (Purchasing, Sales Op, Production Planning, Logistics, Formulation, Quality). /li /ul h3What we are looking for /h3 ul liProven experience of at least two years in Procurement, Planning, or Logistics, preferably within the petfood, food, or FMCG industry and in wet production environments. /li liKnowledge of planning principles: stock level, coverage, order point, lead time. /li liUniversity degree; specific courses on Procurement, Planning, or Logistics appreciated. /li liFluent in Italian and English. /li liExperience working with SAP and a good level in Excel. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liFree canteen. /li liAffinity University platform: professional development opportunities for employees at different stages of their careers, acknowledging diverse career paths. /li liCelebrations fun events. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
