Fashion Designer - Romantic Silhouettes (Project Based)

We are seeking a **fashion designer with hands-on technical skill** to create original dresses for an upcoming cinematic editorial. The aesthetic is **romantic, vintage-inspired**, and rooted in emotional storytelling — think soft silhouettes, cottagecore mood, layered textures, and poetic silhouettes. This is a project-based commission role for a designer who can take concepts from moodboard to finished garment. You must be able to handle both creative and technical sides of development — including cutting patterns, sourcing materials, and crafting the samples ( budget will be provided) **Key Responsibilities**:
Concept & Design Development
- Collaborate with the Creative Director on narrative themes and moodboards
- Develop silhouettes that reflect emotion, softness, and vintage character
- Provide clean sketches or technical references for review Pattern Making & Sample Creation
- Draft patterns for each of the dress designs
- Sew or supervise sample creation through your atelier or trusted makers
- Conduct fittings and refine for editorial styling and photography
- Ensure all pieces are production-ready for a scheduled photo shoot Fabric Sourcing
- Propose suitable fabrics (we’ll support with budget or sourcing help if needed)
- Source trims, lace,



and finishing details aligned with concept **Who We’re Looking For**
- Degree in Fashion Design or hands-on equivalent
- Proven ability to pattern cut and produce own samples
- Portfolio showing realized garments (not just sketches or moodboards)
- Skilled in construction, fabrication, and poetic design thinking
- Strong understanding of silhouette, drape, and romantic styling
- Comfortable working under a creative narrative brief
- Fluent in English; detail-oriented and self-managed **What We Offer**
