Splendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is a charming guesthouse in the heart of the Portofino. Its celebrated restaurant, DaV Mare, embodies all the pleasures of piazzetta living through refined cuisine, curated in partnership with the 3-Michelin-star Cerea family. Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form.
For the next season, we are looking for a Night Chef to join our team.
He/she will report to the Executive Chef.
**Main duties & responsibilities**: - Meal preparation: cooking and preparing food during the night shift;
- Maintain safety, health and hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen;
- Controls incoming goods and stores them in perfect conditions;
- Monitors portion and waste control;
- Performs all duties assigned by the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef; **Requirements**: - Thorough knowledge of cooking styles, equipments and raw materials processing techniques;
- At least 3 years of previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment;
- Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred;
- Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
- Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability;
- Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player;
- Drive results: provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues;
- Global perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position,
level or background;

- Start date: March 2026 to End date: January 2027, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido Mare and a career path;
- Monthly gross salary around 2.300€+ separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;
