We are looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead high performing engineering teams responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and reliable software products. In this role, you will guide technical direction, mentor engineering leaders, and collaborate closely with cross functional departments to build products that balance performance, usability, and long term scalability. **Engineering Leadership**: Lead and mentor software engineers, team leads, and technical managers across multiple development teams. Build a culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and engineering excellence. **Technical Strategy**: Partner with architecture and product teams to define scalable technical roadmaps aligned with long term business goals and customer needs. **Project Delivery**: Oversee the successful delivery of software projects from planning and development through deployment and maintenance while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are achieved. **Process Improvement**: Drive improvements in development workflows, testing standards, deployment automation, and operational efficiency across engineering teams.



**Cross Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with product managers, infrastructure teams, security specialists, and executive leadership to prioritize initiatives and manage technical risks. **Performance and Scalability**:
**Team Development**: Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and career progression initiatives to strengthen engineering talent across the organization. **What We Are Looking For**:
**Experience**: 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years managing engineering teams in a fast paced technology environment. **Leadership Skills**: Strong experience leading cross functional engineering teams, managing technical projects, and developing engineering managers or senior developers. **Technical Expertise**:
**Project Management**: Experience balancing multiple priorities while delivering complex technical projects on schedule and within operational goals. **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences. **Language Skills**: English professional proficiency is required. Italian language skills are considered an advantage for local collaboration and leadership activities. **Mindset**: You are strategic, adaptable, and focused on building strong engineering teams. You know how to balance technical quality with practical business outcomes and delivery timelines. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: €6,200.00 - €6,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
