Key Responsibilities:
Automation Strategy Leadership: Lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of industrial automation systems across manufacturing and operational facilities. Project Management:
Oversee automation projects from concept development and system design through commissioning, testing, and operational deployment. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor automation engineers, control systems specialists, and technical operations teams while fostering a high-performance engineering culture. Operational Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce downtime, enhance equipment reliability, and streamline automated workflows. Technology Integration: Coordinate the integration of PLC, SCADA, HMI, robotics, and industrial communication systems to support evolving business requirements. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all automation systems meet industry regulations, operational safety standards, and internal quality assurance requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior management, production teams, vendors, and external contractors to align automation initiatives with organizational goals. What We Are Looking For:
**Experience**: 8+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, or engineering operations, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership or management role. Technical Expertise: Strong experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, industrial networking, robotics integration, and process automation technologies. Project Leadership: Proven ability to manage large-scale industrial automation projects within manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, or energy environments. Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex operational and systems-related challenges under tight timelines. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present technical strategies to both engineering and executive teams.
