For further details, we kindly invite you to follow us on Linkedin to stay updated with the latest job opportunities.PositionOur client, an international Company operating in the Food Ingredients sector, is currently looking for the:COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR EUROPEThis is a highly strategic, customer-facing leadership role responsible for establishing direct and technically credible relationships with Tier 1 bakers and food manufacturers across the region.Reporting directly to the Group Chief Commercial Officer.Aim & Responsibilities Lead and grow the Company food preservation and protection business across Continental Europe, with a primary focus on industrial and artisanal bakery customers and a secondary remit across broader food and beverage applications.Own and deliver the commercial strategy for food preservation and protection across Continental Europe, in line with the Company's shift toward direct, end-user-led commercial relationships. Build, qualify and personally manage a portfolio of Tier 1 bakery and food manufacturing accounts, acting as the senior relationship owner and technical-commercial point of contact.Develop and execute territory and key account plans, including pipeline management, forecasting, and delivery against revenue and margin targets.Lead, coach and where relevant recruit a team of Key Account Managers / technical sales professionals across the region, embedding a consistent, technically credible selling approach.Partner closely with R&D;,



technical service and regulatory teams to ensure preservation solutions are correctly positioned, trialled and supported for each customer's specific process and labelling requirements.Manage the transition of existing distributor-served accounts toward direct commercial relationships where appropriate, without disrupting revenue continuity.Represent the Company at relevant industry trade shows, customer events and technical conferences across Continental Europe.Provide accurate, timely commercial input into demand planning, pricing and margin management processes, and report performance against plan to senior leadership.Contribute to the broader European commercial strategy, including input into the 90-day action plan and readiness for key internal milestones such as the annual Sales Conference.RequirementsDegree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or related discipline; commercial/MBA credentials an asset. A verifiable track record of 20+ years in the food ingredients sector, with substantial direct experience in preservation, protection, enzyme systems, or shelf-life technologies serving bakery and/or food and beverage manufacturers.Detailed, current knowledge of the bakery sector (industrial and artisanal).Strategic, curious and business-driven leader.Personal accountability and a hands-on, detail-driven working style, with the ability to move from strategic planning to on-the-ground account execution.English fluent.Compensation package: 200.000 – 250.000The overall compensation package will be defined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills and qualifications.Location: Europe (Full remote working with travel across Continental Europe)Other informationInterested people should send a detailed Curriculum Vitae, with the necessary written consent to holding their personal dataThis company is an equal opportunities employer.
