AI Engineer / AI Specialist (Italian & English Speaking) - Italy (Hybrid)
We are currently supporting a leading international organisation within a highly regulated environment in expanding its AI capability across Italy. They are seeking hands‑on AI professionals who thrive in experimentation, prototyping, and building intelligent solutions from the ground up.
This is an exciting opportunity for "AI-native" talent who enjoy coding, testing, and developing real‑world applications, working closely with business stakeholders to solve complex challenges.
Requirements
- Fluency in Italian and English (both required)
- Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Information Engineering
- Proven hands‑on experience with AI development, modelling, and experimentation
- Strong programming skills (ideally Python or similar cloud‑compatible languages)
- Experience in:
- Prompt engineering
- AI prototyping & rapid experimentation
- Agent development (building or contributing to AI agents)
- Understanding of cloud environments
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Familiarity with GxP environments or regulated industries is highly advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement AI‑driven solutions and models
- Build and test AI agents and intelligent systems
- Rapidly prototype solutions to validate business use cases
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Work across AI platforms and tools to experiment and optimise outputs
- Contribute to innovation by exploring new approaches within AI and automation
- Ensure solutions align with compliance standards where applicable (e.g., GxP)

- Location: Italy (Rome preferred)
- Working model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
- Start: ASAP
- Contract: Flexible / project‑based environment (depending on candidate)
