Founded in 2010, Lio Factory Group is an Italian-based investment holding building platforms in private markets across Real Assets and Infrastructure.
Lio Infrastructure is the Group’s infrastructure arm, focused on the energy and digital transitions through two investment platforms:
- Lio Energy — renewable energy development across Italy, with a pipeline of +4 GW currently under authorization
- Lio DC — cloud and AI data centers, with +800 MW of grid power secured across four sites in Northern Italy
Internship — Energy Investments Team
We are looking for a driven, analytically rigorous candidate to join our Energy Investments team in Milan for a 6-month internship.
What you will do
· Support asset management: monitoring project milestones, updating business plans, and tracking cash flows for development-stage assets
- Build and stress-test financial models for renewable energy transactions
- Screen and evaluate acquisition and development opportunities across the M&A; pipeline
- Conduct sector research and competitive analysis to support investment decisions
- Contribute to the preparation of Investment Committee materials and deal memos
This is a hands-on role with real deal exposure from day one. Depending on performance, a full-time offer may follow at the end of the internship.
What we look for
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering from a leading institution (completed or near completion)
· Prior experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity, preferably with exposure to energy or infrastructure transactions
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Rigorous, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced deal environment
Location: Milan, Via Alessandro Manzoni 21 — tempo pieno, in person
Compensation: 1,000 – 1,300 depending to the profile
