They will ensure that the products meet customer requirements and adhere to industry standards. The engineer will collaborate with other teams including marketing, sales, and production to ensure that the product meets all designated requirements.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and develop new products according to company requirements.Create test plans and conduct testing of prototype products.Ensure that the products meet all necessary standards and regulations.Collaborate with other teams including marketing, sales, and production.Maintain accurate and detailed records of product development.Continuously test and evaluate products to ensure quality and functionality.Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in the product development process.Ensure that all products are launched according to the set timeline.Keep up to date with industry trends and standards to ensure that the products are competitive.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEAt least 5 years’ experience as a product development engineer.Experience working in a team and collaborating across departments.SKILLSGood understanding of the product development process.Ability to create technical drawings and schematics.High attention to detail and ability to think critically.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.Strong problem-solving skills.WORKING CONDITIONSThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
