site , we are currently looking for a IT Engineer to join the IT
Automation Support Team. ResponsibilitiesThe
position holder will support robotics and automation manufacturing lines by
handling incidents and requests to restore service, implementing workarounds
where necessary to ensure production equipment remains operational. The role
also involves analyzing issues using structured resolution methodologies to
identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. In
addition, the position will support manufacturing change requests related to
new business requirements and contribute to improving equipment efficiency.The
responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Troubleshoot issues related to
applications such as AMA (Activity Manager Automation), EICs (Equipment
Integrated Controller), and EMCS (Equipment Monitoring and Control System)
within the robotics and automation environment. Apply ST standard resolution
methodologies, such as 8D, to identify root causes and implement permanent
corrective and preventive actions. Support users in addressing new
business requirements. Test new features in software
releases related to automation, ensuring existing features continue to function
as expected. Test and deploy new versions of EICs
(Equipment Controller) and perform characterization and buy-off activities for
EICs on new equipment types when required. Conduct training sessions for key
users when required. Develop and maintain documentation,
while following and improving operating procedures to ensure robust,
high-quality customer service delivered within budget and on time. Your ProfileThe Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:Bachelor’s degree in
Information Technology or a related field. Knowledge of PL/SQL. Experience in robotics and
automation within a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset,
particularly with AMA and MCS applications. Be prepared to work in a diverse
environment and comply with ST Health & Safety rules. Be able to work both independently
and as part of a team. Demonstrate a willingness to
continuously develop knowledge and skills to successfully carry out assigned
tasks and projects. Strong presentation skills and the
ability to deliver training will also be considered an advantage. The
expected salary range for this position is between 40,000 and 48,000 gross
per year, depending on experience and the level of seniority within the
organization. Applications from candidates with more extensive experience and
higher salary expectations will also be taken into consideration. A
comprehensive relocation package is also provided to support candidates moving
