Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:In this role as a Product Specialist (Associate Product Manager) at nVent, you will play an instrumental role in maintaining the portfolio for the HOFFMAN climate control, industrial or commercial products globally. These growing product lines are seeking motivated team members to work cross functionally and drive product improvements, support product development, and own the product portfolio. You will provide technical product support and expertise to customers, sales teams, and field technicians. You will maintain product data integrity, provide training and technical advice, and support sales efforts by understanding HVAC product applications, features, and solutions.Portfolio Management and PerformanceAssist with management activities related to product life cycle from ideation, development, introduction, maturity and obsolescenceFoster cross-functional activities to improve overall product line performance including revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction, quality and deliveryProduct Launches, Marketing and Sales SupportLead new product setup process through item creation, data validation, and system proliferationSupport marketing aspects associated with the product definition, product development, pricing, market introduction, sales tools, and promotion plansProvide ongoing product support and guidance to supply, quality, and production organizationsServe as subject matter authority for assigned product lines for internal and external audiencesMaintain accurate product data and help ensure proper product usage.Market Research, Analysis, and Competitive IntelligenceProvide relevant market analysis and recommendations for existing products, new technologies, and emerging marketsContinually coordinate and assess competitive products and programsCommunicate key findings and conclusions to key partners to drive actionProvide consulting on product applications and upgrades to improve customer satisfaction.YOU HAVE:Bachelor degree preferably in Mechanical,
Thermal Engineering or Management Engineering2+ years of experience in the Product Marketing or Management fieldAbility to travel (up to 15%) both domestically and internationallyDemonstrate knowledge working with industrial sales channels including distribution and manufacturer’s repsProficient with Microsoft applications, ERPs and other technical software.Experience with industrial manufacturing, as well as exposure to automation and/or automotive markets, preferredUnderstanding of basic product management processesValidated mechanical proficiencyExcellent communication and presentation abilities, including strong active listening skillsValidated skills to analyze, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from data and financial modelsOrganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Pay Transparency nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. This role is categorized as a B1 or B2 based on experience.Annual Gross Compensation Range:EUR 40,000.00 – 48,000.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as short or long-term incentives, which are discretionary and governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents. Remuneration terms are also subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement in force at the employer (nVent) level.
