To commission controls systems on-site including electrical and PLC software commissioning and to provide support to system test activities and training for the end userTo produce commissioning documentation including, but not limited to, commissioning checklists, tests specifications,



Method Statements and Risk Assessments for Automated solutions to BS EN ISO 12100.To interpret electrical schematics and design input information.Ensure systems supplied are CE Compliant to the Machinery Directive.Commission Safety Related Part of the Controls system solutions to the regulations and in accordance with BS EN ISO 13849/13850/60204 etc.Qualifications & Experience:Educational background in Electrical/Controls Engineering as a minimumDesirable: Educated to degree level in a relevant disciplineExperience in a similar roleGood understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA development and commissioning softwareHands-on experience with electrical commissioning.Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawingsGood understanding of bus systemsUnderstanding of distributed control systems desirable not essentialUnderstanding of automated warehouse desirable not essentialAbility to travel to customer sites for up to 80% of the time, both domestically and internationally.Full driver’s license to support the travel requirements of the role.Bachelor or Master degree in EngineeringSpecial Conditions:Role will require 80% travel to customer sites within the EMEA European region including travel to other Dematic offices or facilities across Europe in the undertaking of duties.SummaryLocation: Cernusco sul Naviglio, ItalyType: Tempo pieno
