DescriptionThe opportunityAs a Project Governance & Excellence Expert, you define, maintain, and promote standards and methods for IT Project Management and quality assurance. You will engage in development and implementation of strategic IT Project Portfolio Management. You work in a worldwide and multicultural environment in close collaboration with Business and IT teams to foster good project management/ project portfolio management practices across the organization.How you will make an impact:Refine, improve, and promote standards and methods for IT Project Management and quality assuranceStrengthen existing PM services and engage in developing new services such as IT project assessments, PM support, reporting on progress, resources, finance, costingsEngage in development and implementation of a framework for strategic IT Project Portfolio Management which aligns to company goals and supports strategic planning and decision-making processesConduct regular portfolio reviews and develop reports/ dashboards to provide insights on portfolio health, risks etc.Facilitate activities in the IT Project Management community of practices and collaborate with PMO teams across various departments in ITDevelop new and improve existing IT Project Portfolio/ Project Management training materials,
train PMs based on best practicesSupport the implementation and promote usage of the PM and PPM tooling (ServiceNow - SPM module)Your background:5+ years of working experience in areas of IT Project Management/ Project Portfolio Management in global companiesKnowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies such as agile, waterfall, Prince2, PMP, ideally also certified in PM or PPMGeneral knowledge of IT processes and technologiesExperience with PPM Tools, ideally ServiceNow SPM moduleMasters / Bachelor’s degree preferable in Information Management Systems, Business AdministrationExcellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindsetFluent in English (written and spoken)Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
