Job Description Summary
We are looking for an experienced EHS professional to lead all the EHS activities according to GE and Italy requirements in our manufacturing plant in Milan (150 employees and 3 production lines). The successful candidate will possess best‑practice knowledge and understand how the EHS area integrates with others, staying aware of competition and market differentiators.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as the appointed RSPP (Responsabile del Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione) under Italian D.Lgs. 81/08, providing expert advice to site leadership and ensuring full compliance with local and GEV corporate standards.
- Liaise with other functions to ensure proper focus on EHS, including Environmental & Chemical (E&C;).
- Ensure EHS risk assessments are effective, updated and communicated (including on E&C; sites).
- Monitor applicable EHS regulations and ensure unit compliance with local regulations (country/state).
- Participate in work council meetings with employees and other governing bodies in accordance with local regulations.
- Identify EHS training needs for the unit in coordination with HR and managers.
- Train, coach, or secure training and coaching of action leaders, sponsors, and management teams.
- Plan safety visits (Gemba walks) for management teams (including on E&C; sites) and follow‑up observations.
- Deploy and implement digital tools (GEOS, E‑Andon, e‑Obeya, etc.).
- Maintain and continuously improve the site’s EHS Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Lead EHS audits (governance, insurance, machine conformity, etc.).
- Report progress of EHS improvement actions.
- Prepare operational budgets to fund EHS annual activities.
Required Qualifications
- Full compliance with the requirements for the RSPP role (D.Lgs. 81/08, Modules A, B, C).
- Proven experience in managing Italian EHS regulatory obligations (e.g., INAIL, ATS/ASL, ARPA, Fire Dept/VVF).
- Proven track record in managing ISO certifications and EHS internal/external audits.
- Similar experience on an Italian manufacturing site is a must.
- Pragmatic approach.
- Fluent Italian and English.

Pay & Benefits
Salary Range : €58,400.00 – €87,600.00 gross per annum. Pay will be based on education, qualifications, experience, and skill set.
Premio Plan : Variable-AIP annual bonus with target incentive of 15% of base salary.
Other Benefits (summary) : Pension fund contributions 2.1% employer, 1.2% employee; basic health insurance with optional supplementary coverage; canteen allowance; flexible working up to 10 days/month; overtime premium, shift uplift, and on‑call allowances as per applicable collective agreement.
