As a Database Administrator, you'll be at the heart of this function—designing, managing, and securing the databases that power our business.Your Role & ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for defining and documenting the structure of our database systems to support long-term business success. Your expertise will guide the configuration, installation, and maintenance of database management systems (DBMS), ensuring optimal performance, reliability and possible evolution.Key responsibilities include:Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain DBMS across multiple environments to ensure high availability and performanceSecurity & Access Control: Manage user access and implement stringent security protocols to safeguard sensitive dataDisaster Recovery: Design and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery strategies to mitigate risk and ensure data integrity in case of system failureSupport & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support to end users and application developers, diagnosing and resolving complex database-related issuesPerformance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune systems for optimal efficiency, applying proactive solutions to minimize downtime and maximize throughputCapacity Planning: Conduct usage analysis and growth forecasting to ensure scalability in line with business needsPolicy Implementation: Develop and enforce standards, procedures, and best practices for database management and data protectionStrategic Collaboration:
