/b /pulliReporting to: Engineering Construction Manager Italy /liliBased in: Rome, Italy /li /ulpThe selected professional will be responsible for leading and overseeing all engineering activities related to utility-scale photovoltaic and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Italy, covering the full project lifecycle: development, design, construction, and commissioning.
/ppbWhat will you do?
/b /pulliLead engineering for PV and BESS projects from early-stage to development, permitting, construction, and commissioning /liliAct as technical reference for grid connection, layout optimization, yield assessments, and technology selection /liliSupport permitting, due diligence, and MA processes /liliValidate designs from co-developers, consultants, and EPCs /liliReview RFIs and design changes; supporting commissioning and performance validation /liliEnsure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and bankability requirements /liliDrive CAPEX optimization and support investment decisions with technical-economic analysis /liliCollaborate with finance, procurement, and commercial teams /liliLead BESS-specific engineering: sizing, integration, safety compliance,
and grid code requirements /liliManage technical interfaces with EPCs, grid operators, lenders, and authorities /liliLead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams /liliPrepare technical reports for management and investors /li /ulpbWhat do we need?
/b /pulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
/liliMinimum 5 years of experience as Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Lead in utility-scale PV and/or BESS projects.
/liliProven experience in project development, design review, CAPEX analysis, and construction-phase engineering management.
/liliStrong knowledge of PV and BESS technologies, grid integration, and EPC project execution.
/liliExperience working with co-developers, EPC contractors, and international project teams.
/liliProficiency in English and Italian.
Knowledge of Spanish will be considered a plus.
/liliProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
