/p pThe person we are looking for, in the role of Product Application HFH, will be responsible for providing technical expertise and application support for Alfa Laval solutions, acting as a key point of contact between customers, Sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
The role focuses on supporting customer projects, identifying the most suitable technical solutions, and contributing to business growth through value?driven product and application support.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 pCollaborate with existing customers and support business opportunities generated through the Sales team, ensuring high-level technical expertise and customer satisfaction.
/p ul liParticipate in customer projects, meetings, site visits, and technical discussions, delivering tailored product presentations and value?driven solutions aligned with customer needs.
/li liProvide technical consultancy and application support for Alfa Laval products,
helping customers optimize processes, performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
/li liSupport the quotation and proposal process for complex customer projects, including technical specifications, product selection, sizing, and solution configuration.
/li liAct as a product champion during product launches, campaigns, and commercial initiatives, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.
/li liBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive technical support, problem solving, and continuous collaboration.
/li liProvide product and application expertise to customers, channel partners, and internal teams through technical training sessions, workshops, and presentations.
/li liWork closely with Sales, Service, Engineering, and Product Management teams to identify customer needs and develop customised technical solutions.
/li liSupport troubleshooting activities and contribute to the resolution of technical issues, ensuring timely and effective customer support.
/li liMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to contribute to continuous product and application improvement.
/li liPrepare technical documentation,
reports, and application guidelines to support commercial and operational activities.
/li liContribute to business growth by identifying upselling opportunities and promoting value?added solutions and services.
/li liEnsure compliance with company standards, quality procedures, and safety regulations during all customer interactions and project activities.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
/li liPrevious experience in technical support, product/application engineering, process engineering, or similar technical-commercial roles is considered a plus.
/li liKnowledge of industrial processes and thermal/hygienic fluid handling applications is preferred.
/li liStrong technical aptitude and problem?solving skills.
/li liAbility to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
/li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and cross?functional teams.
/li liCustomer?oriented mindset and proactive approach.
/li liAbility to manage multiple activities and priorities in a dynamic environment.
/li liGood knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and technical documentation management.
/li liFluent in Italian and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
/li liAvailability to travel for customer visits and business activities.
