p h3bMANUFACTURING ENGINEER - AEROSPACE AREA /b /h3 pPPG AMPASPACE is part of the PPG Aerospace Strategic Business Unit, a global leading manufacturer of Aircraft transparencies, coatings and sealants.
/p pPPG Ampaspace produces both monolithic and laminated Aircraft transparencies with using acrylic and polycarbonate materials for the world's top manufacturers of civilian and military Aircraft.
Its production includes cockpit and passenger cabin Windows, canopies and windshields for military jets and helicopters, Landing light lenses and wing tip lenses.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 pAs manufacturing Engineer, you will be involved in all manufacturing Engineering activities of Casaletto Vaprio plant: ensure alignment of production data with the customer design and develop a culture of quality, safety and EHS for the Aerospace production.
You will develop operational excellence according to the site's strategy and define manufacturing processes of the plant, by optimization and efficiency of people, materials and equipment.
/p h3Technical Skills /h3 ulliMaster's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Process Engineering or equivalent /lili3-4 years of experience in Manufacturing / Process Engineering /liliSolid experience in reading technical drawings/specifications, including identification of Key Characteristics (KC) /liliExperience with Metrology, ASME tolerances or equivalent /liliCAD knowledge with Catia V5 or similar /liliExcellent knowledge and use of the full Microsoft Office suite /liliItalian C1 (native speaker preferred) and English B2 /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ulliProblem solving /liliStrong team player, especially across different functions /liliQuality,
results and continuous improvement oriented /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ulli3-4 years of experience in EN **** (or ideally Part 21) /liliExperience in transparencies manufacturing processes and the main processes involved (forming, machining, lamination, bonding and painting) /liliLean Manufacturing experience, Six Sigma Green Belt /liliAdditional languages at a minimum B1 level.
