Program Overview OMLP is a 2‑year development program consisting of: Three 8‑month rotational assignments that allow members to have hands‑on leadership experience and build supply chain technical & management skills across Avio Aero’s plants in Italy.
Global trainings to become proficient in lean operations & supply chain management.
Leadership & Personal Development coursework to develop leadership skills and build connections with GE Aerospace Development Program members throughout the world.
Collaborate with Assignment Leader in setting and achieving realistic and challenging goals.
Plan and perform assigned tasks aligned to the business’s priorities and core tenets of safety, quality, inventory, and productivity (SQDC).
Demonstrate ability to understand and apply operational and technical fundamentals in the business environment using analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Develop cooperation and teamwork while leading diverse groups in the development and implementation of team goals.
Generate innovative ideas and apply change best practices to ensure impact of key initiatives.
Participate in Kaizen events and learn & apply lean with a focus on continuous improvement.
Requirements Master’s Degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, Materials Engineering from an accredited University or college.
Previous junior experience (e.g., co‑op, intern),
preferably in manufacturing/Global Supply Chain.
English and Italian fluency, written and verbal.
Geographic flexibility and global mindset with a willingness and ability to work in any of Avio Aero’s 5 manufacturing locations.
Knowledge of technical drawings.
Deep passion for aviation/aerospace plus strong commitment for a career in Global Supply Chain.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills coupled with the ability to connect with all levels of the organization showing openness, transparency & humility.
Strong curiosity to learn.
Able to own a/o coordinate many tasks concurrently with high execution & follow‑through.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to breakdown the issues and formulate plans to address and rectify situations in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to solve problems and make meaningful change benefiting our customers, people, and organisation in a team/manufacturing environment.
Work VISA, according to local regulation, is required.
