ph3About the Role /h3 pYou will be a Scala engineer in a cross‑functional development team. Likely technical challenges you will face in your first year will be related to adapting the architecture of our systems with strong customer growth in mind. Over time you will become the go‑to person within the team for backend development and will take initiative to learn and research new technologies, delivering code of great quality and keeping technical debt under control. A successful candidate will be pragmatic, collaborative, value simplicity and effectiveness, and be biased for action. /li liReview code constructively and work with colleagues to continuously improve the way we work. /li liKeep abreast of technological developments in the industry and their relevance to the company. /li liShare your knowledge and apply it to improve the Moneyfarm systems and the lives of your colleagues. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAt least 2 years of commercial experience in software engineering; a BSc in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or a higher degree is nice to have. /li liScala commercial experience is highly preferred, but transferable skills in Java 8+, Kotlin, etc. are acceptable. /li liTypescript experience is a plus. /li liExperience with microservices architectures, event‑streaming systems, and cloud providers; knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes and AWS is a plus. /li liGood understanding of agile methodologies (particularly Kanban/Lean), their principles and ceremonies. /li liExperience working with Git and performing code reviews. /li liFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab CI. /li liFocus on testing and extraordinary attention to detail. /li liExperience in fintech or wealth management is a plus. /li liEffective communication in English (written and spoken); Italian is a plus. /li /ul h3Level Compensation /h3 pWe apply CCNL Credito and, based on the candidate’s experience and skills, we will assign the title of Software Engineer II. /p pThe salary ranges for this role are as follows: /p ul liSoftware Engineer II: €38 000 to €48 000 gross per year plus premio. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
