OHB Italia is seeking for its Satellites & Missions Business Unit in Milan, Rome or Turin for immediate start a Senior Satellite Verification & Validation (V&V) ManagerRef. V&V_2026You will join a team of system engineers, bringing your experience in leading and driving satellite activities along the whole project lifecycle, including design, development, integration, verification, launch and in-orbit operations.As a V&V manager, you will drive all the activities relevant with the specification, verification and validation of the project, while respecting the satellite schedule and budget.Tasks:Lead the Verification and Validation of small satellitesCoordination, monitoring and ensuring the timely implementation of all relevant V&V activitiesContribution to preparation of Design, Development and Verification PlansConfident handling of development processes (e.g. V-model)Definition and management of Model Philosophy and HW matrixManagement of the requirement specification process, from customer to Equipment levelContribution to definition of verification methods and stagesContribution to the definition of the testing infrastructure (eg. Flatsat,
SCOEs etc.)Support satellite verification and AIT activitiesPreparation and execution of system and acceptance tests with customersEvaluation, logging and evaluation of test results as well as the documentation of deviationsQualifications:Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, including requirements engineering, functional analysis, verification control5+ years of hands-on working experience.Experience in satellite verification, including participation to AIT campaignsExcellent sense of responsibilityStructured hands-on work-approachHighly self-motivated and able to work autonomouslyGood interpersonal skillsFluent in EnglishUniversity degree (Master/PhD) or equivalent education plus relevant proven work experience in industryAssets:Requirements management tools (Doors, etc.)Model Based System EngineeringConcurrent engineering tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.)Italian languageThe gross annual remuneration package will be determined based on the degree of alignment between the candidate's profile and the requirements of the role, as well as the level of professional experience acquired.
