To stay ahead, we need to continuously monitor the technology landscape, identify the most promising developments for our business needs, and deliver prototypes, minimum viable products, or proofs of concept to test these technologies.Our business needs include enhancing the effectiveness of engineering processes and integrating AI technology into our products and services.PositionThe primary responsibility will be to deliver 3-4 validated PoCs per year, with at least one PoC graduating to a production roadmap, so Coesia stays ahead in applying AI to industrial engineering.Daily TasksScout & evaluate: track research papers, benchmarks, OSS repos, webinars; curate a monthly “AI radar” for stakeholdersPrototype & validate: design and code PoCs/MVPs; measure business impactCollaborate: work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, data scientists,
marketing and IT to co-create technology workflows and innovation roadmapsMLOps & software engineering: containerise workloads, automate CI/CD, and instrument model monitoringData wrangling: acquire, clean, and label data; fine-tune or distil large models; enforce data-privacy/security guidelinesDocument: write concise tech notes and documentation about discoveriesLearn & share: attend one major conference per year and share learnings internallyWhat You Need to Be SuccessfulMust-haveMSc in STEM disciplines3-5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, software engineering or applied research rolesExperience in developing and validating AI-driven solutions, PoCs, MVPs, or production-ready applicationsProgramming skills and familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks and development toolsEnglish (B2 spoken / C1 reading-writing)Nice-to-haveExperience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and LLM fine-tuningExposure to cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)Experience working in cross-functional innovation, R&D;, or industrial engineering environmentsKnowledge of MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and model monitoringOpen-source contributionsOur OfferCompensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 39,000 in line with experience.
