Keysight is looking for aWireless Protocol Integration Engineerto support theintegration, validation, and system?level adoption of 3GPP 5G and pre?6G protocol features.
This role acts as abridge between protocol R&D; development and end?to?end system validation, working close to real implementations and evolving standards.
The focus is onfeature integration, test environments, and system?level validation.
This position plays a key role inearly 6G pre?standard activitieswithin amulti?site international setup.
Responsibilities
Work closely withR&D; 3GPP Protocol Development teamsto integrate5G and pre?6G features
SupportUE and base station emulation
Contribute topre?6G standards, following3GPP evolution
Target, configure, and maintainhost and test environments
Collaborate with R&D; software teams and cross?functional experts (systems, RF, protocol, product, customers/partners) to align on feature implementation, reproduce field issues, debug complex behaviors, and validate fixes
Design, build, and executetests to validate protocol featuresusingscripting languages xysqume
Qualifications
Strong expertise in3GPP LTE / NR protocols
Linux OS knowledge
Python scripting
Strong communication skills and proactive attitude
Experience working in amulti?site environment
Technical communication inEnglish
Experience withCI/CD, test frameworks, containers, and/or cloud?based environments (preferred)
Tools:Git, Valgrind/Polaris, JIRA, Wireshark(preferred)
